I’m Sayand Krishna

AI Engineer based in Bengaluru.

I work with language models, retrieval systems, and AI agents, and build the software around them, from the first idea through to production. Right now, I build and deploy AI-powered products at Tecnots.

What I’m working on

2025 — PresentAI Engineer, Tecnots

I build and deploy AI-powered products at Tecnots. My work moves between AI systems, backend development, and the infrastructure that keeps applications running.

I built Nia Slides end to end and own development of RightPitch. Along the way, I’ve worked on investor recommendations, document retrieval, natural-language database queries, and making AI applications faster and less expensive to run.

Selected work

The two products I spend most of my time on, and a few other things I’ve built along the way.

Nia Slides, opens niaslides.com

What it is

A presentation platform that turns a conversation into a slide deck you can edit and share.

What I did

I built the platform end to end, including a custom orchestration system that coordinates web research, content generation, and parallel slide building. I wrote the coordination layer from scratch.

Focus

  • Orchestration
  • Web research
  • Content generation
  • Parallel slide building

02I own developmentAt Tecnots

RightPitch, opens rightpitch.com

What it is

A platform that helps entrepreneurs develop their ideas and connect with investors.

What I did

I built an AI assistant that uses documents and conversation to help people complete their submissions, along with an embedding-based system for matching ideas with investors. My work also covers the workflows that take an idea from submission toward funding.

Focus

  • AI assistant
  • Documents + conversation
  • Embedding-based matching
  • Submission workflows

Also builttap a name

A way to ask questions of a database in everyday language.

I built a natural-language-to-SQL API with conversational context, schema grounding, and semantic caching. The work focused on connecting a user’s question to the structure of the underlying data.

Natural language → SQL · Conversational context · Schema grounding · Semantic caching

A little about me

I enjoy the part where an idea becomes something people can actually use.

That often means working across the whole application: understanding the problem, building the AI features, and getting everything deployed.

I’m interested in how language models fit into everyday software, especially where they can make a complicated task easier.
